The Deployment
DC3 deployed Mirador controllers with dynamic temperature band controls across two pads, paired with C1D1 radar tank level monitors for real-time inventory visibility.
What the System Does
Injection rates adjust in real time based on ambient and process temperatures. Methanol is delivered precisely when conditions demand it, at the rate the conditions require. Tank levels report hourly with accuracy to .0787″, so inventory is never a guess.
The Results
A 45% reduction in methanol usage across both pads, with freeze protection maintained throughout the winter season. Waste eliminated, efficiency verified.
